ane is an experienced commercial litigator with a focus on all aspects of contentious insolvency. Her clients include office holders, creditors and debtors. She also acts for directors in civil and regulatory claims. Outside the insolvency context Jane acts for financial institutions, companies and private individuals in a broad range of disputes including shareholder and partnership claims, fraud, property and trust matters and contractual disputes of all kinds.
Jane brings a detailed and forensic focus to complex cases and investigations. She has successfully taken a number of cases to the Court of Appeal, including Burrows Investments Ltd v Ward Homes Ltd  EWCA Civ 1577, a property claim involving issues of contractual construction, and Ong & others v Ping  EWCA Civ 2069, a cross-border trust dispute.
