Solicitor/Legal Executive (Portsmouth)
As a result of the continued growth of the team, the firm is now seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join the hardworking but friendly team at our Portsmouth office (Port Solent). Given the Coronavirus situation current situation remote induction and training will be provided and the successful applicant will be able to work from home. When things return to normal a flexible working pattern will also be available.
The role would be to act as a solicitor or legal executive within the Insolvency & Restructuring team. The candidate will be required to act in relation to contentious insolvency matters and insolvency related commercial litigation.
The role will be best suited to solicitors or legal executives with up to 6 years PQE, able to run their own caseload and with a solid background in commercial or insolvency litigation. Insolvency litigation experience is preferred but not essential.
Applicants must have excellent organisational and time management abilities, and a genuine ability to contribute to a busy litigation team. Exceptional attention to detail is vital. Applicants will need to be excellent team players, capable of hitting the ground running with minimal supervision. The successful applicant will be competent with Microsoft Word and Excel and will have proficient IT skills. The candidate will also need to hold a full driving licence and have their own transport.
