Corporate Finance Solicitor (1-10 yr PQE) (Norwich or Portsmouth)

Our sister brand, Isadores has an extremely exciting opportunity to become a part of its rapidly growing Corporate Legal Team in either of its Norwich or Portsmouth offices.  They are interested to hear from lawyers of all qualifications who have experience in Corporate and Finance transactional work.

Legal Assistant (Portsmouth)

Due to continued growth, the firm is now seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join the hardworking but friendly team at our Portsmouth office. Supporting the Insolvency & Restructuring Team, this will involve legal assistance and administrative support, including research, liaison and preparation.

General Duties :

  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • A strong team ethic
  • Active participation in any support team initiatives
  • Utilise all firmwide IT applications, for example (but not limited to)
  • Case Management systems
  • Document management systems
  • Office 365 applications
  • Electronic diaries
  • Centrally stored information (non-client)
  • Ensure that any personal training is current in order to fulfil the role.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by the management team.

Legal Duties:

  • Prepare documents.
  • Fact check.
  • Preparing evidence for presentation
  • Tracking case developments
  • Research and compile information
  • Liaise internally and externally to gather information
  • Manage, organise, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
  • Prepare legal documentation for Court Hearings
  • Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, such as pleadings and contracts
  • Filing forms and other documents with Companies House, HM Land Registry, and the courts including CE filing.
  • Assisting all fee earners as required
