Benjamin Molyneux

Associate

Benjamin joined Isadore Goldman in 2026, having previously worked as an Associate in the restructuring and insolvency team at a Top 40 UK law firm.

He specialises in contentious insolvency and restructuring matters, acting for insolvency office-holders (liquidators and administrators), companies, directors, individuals and their family members involved in insolvency proceedings.

His experience includes acting for both claimants and defendants in claims brought under the Insolvency Act 1986, including:

- Misfeasance and breach of trust — advising office‑holders and defending directors in complex allegations of wrongdoing.

- Antecedent transaction claims — including transactions at an undervalue and preferences.

- Void disposition claims — including applications for validation orders.

- Bankruptcy petitions — and related claims such as challenges involving the family home.

- Winding‑up petitions.

Benjamin is known for providing practical, commercial and solutions-focused advice, guiding clients through complex and often high-value insolvency disputes with clarity and confidence.

He is a member of R3 and holds an LLB in Law, a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course, and a Distinction in the MSc in Law, Business and Management.

Outside of work, Benjamin is a committed supporter of Wolverhampton Wanderers — a decision initially influenced by the stadium name, but one that has required considerably more dedication in recent seasons. He also enjoys playing football, padel, and exploring new countries.
