Lauren Johnson

Lauren joined Isadore Goldman in January 2017 as a Paralegal after obtaining a degree in Commercial Law.

Since then, Lauren has completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Westminster. Lauren was admitted to the roll of solicitors in May 2022 following completion of her training contract.

Lauren works within the insolvency department dealing with financial institutions, companies and private individuals covering a broad range of disputes. Lauren predominantly undertakes debt recovery work for creditors including issuing proceedings and dealing with statutory demands and bankruptcy and winding up petitions. Due to the nature of the work, Lauren often advises clients on both IVA and CVA proposals. Lauren has also gained a wide range of experience in respect of general litigation matters.

Lauren worked on a multi-million pound knowing receipt claim and successfully represented three of 12 Defendants. The trial took place over a three-week period in the High Court, Chancery Division (Courtwood Holdings Sa v Woodley Properties Ltd and Others [2018] EWHC 2163 (Ch)).
