Matthew Letts

Solicitor

Matthew is known for dealing with complex insolvency disputes and litigation, insolvency investigations and technical insolvency and restructuring advice.

Matthew joined Isadore Goldman in 2024 having previously worked, for a number of years in a similar capacity.

In addition to acting for individuals and company directors (including defending insolvency related claims), he has provided technical advice on insolvency-related matters to clients including insolvency practitioners, finance companies, landlords and trade creditors. Matthew also has experience in advising businesses in relation to complex asset and debt recovery issues.

Matthew's particular specialism is in advising directors subject to claims by liquidators. He has successfully represented directors in relation to a variety of claims including claims for wrongful trading and breaches of duty and has worked on a number of cases arising from the insolvency of construction businesses.

Matthew has been listed as a Key Lawyer in Legal 500 - Southeast - Insolvency and Corporate Recovery, shortly after qualifying as a Solicitor in 2023.

Matthew is a Next Gen member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
