Sarah Phillips
Sarah specialises in contentious insolvency matters, in particular, conducting litigation on behalf of, and providing technical advice and assistance to, insolvency practitioner clients. Sarah also acts for individuals and creditors. Examples of Sarah’s notable work include assisting with a high value freezing injunction and recovery action, and dealing with transaction at undervalue, preference and misfeasance claims.
Sarah joined Isadore Goldman as an Associate Solicitor in November 2018 from the Insolvency and Business Turnaround department of a regional firm, having relocated to the south coast in early 2017.
Prior to that, Sarah worked within the Corporate Recovery department of Gateley Plc in London, having completed her legal training at Howes Percival LLP.
Before moving to the law, Sarah began her career within the specialist fraud insolvency (FInD) division of Recovery and Reorganisation at Grant Thornton UK LLP in London, where she dealt with both bankruptcies and liquidations, including high profile and multi-jurisdictional matters.
Whilst at Grant Thornton, Sarah completed the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency.
Sarah is also a member of R3.
